Creative projects are always challenging as they give the photographer the opportunity to experiment with new ideas, techniques and styles. This project is related to creative nature portraits. Nature portraits are significantly different from environmental portraits even if they were taken in a natural environment. The purpose of an environmental portrait is to highlight the personality and the feelings of the subject, while in creative nature portraits the human subjects are highly stylized.
Characteristics and Effects
We are all part of nature. Nature Portrais has a highly experimental process, it is a in camera double exposure process and most of the time the composition plays a big role in the images, special inspirations and motivations are different for every image, the success of this type of photography lies in finding a perfect match between the human subject’s main features and the characteristics of the subject.
The Purpose of Nature Portraits
Although these images are created for fine art, commercial, editorial or private collections, the human subjects depicted in them are average individuals who are really exited about being part of an art project. There is no need for any special make-up or hair style before the shooting session. Just be yourself on a regular daily basis. Shots are made outdoors.
