Signed contracts and retainer fees are required to secure the date of any shooting session, wedding or other event. In case you have to cancel your session please let us know as soon as possible. You may use your retainer fee for a rescheduled session; however these fees are not refundable. The rest of the fees are due the day of session.
Weddings or Other Events
For wedding and other events payment will be necessary two weeks prior to the event. For events outside San Diego the payment of an additional fee will be required. We accept payments in cash, check, money order, Visa and MasterCard.
Equipment
During the shooting session clients are responsible for damage of any studio equipment. No alterations, decorations or additions to the studio are permitted without our written consent.
Photos
At the end of every session we make a selection of photos that will be retouched prior to printing. Included in the one hour session are 20 digital images retouched. For any additional images there is an extra cost, please refer to our prices. Images will be released to print at professional labs only.
If our work is defective in any way we will make the adjustments free of cost. We are not liable for indirect purchases or loss of your photos or delays resulting from third parties. Although we use only high quality prints, photos do deteriorate in time, especially if not stored properly. We are not responsible for such damages.
We allow sharing of our images on social media with acknowledgment of copyright to "Xenia Mateiu Photography" and our website as well. However copying images for profit or commercial use in its original form or altered, is not allowed. All copyrights are maintained by Xenia Mateiu Photography at all times.
