Meet the Photographer and the Family

My name is Xenia Mateiu and I'm a Maternity and Baby Photographer covering North County San Diego. My shooting style is very relaxed and fun. I usually talk to my clients before a photo shoot about the type of pictures they are interested in. The photos made in the studio are classy and intimate so that we can capture these precious moments together. I always try and encourage my clients to do a studio and an outdoor photo shoot because the feeling of the images is very different and because people have special places close to their heart. This makes people comfortable in a setting that they already love and that means something for them. Outdoor photo shoots can be especially fun for older babies and kids because they are interested in the world around us.
